Zaheer Khan Retires Says Goodbye To International Cricket :- Thursday 15 Oct 2015, It came as a shocking news for every single Indian cricket fan when one of the lethal pace bowler of the country Zaheer Khan announces his permanent retirement from international cricket.


Zaheer Khan, the 37-year-old left-arm pacer, who played 92 Tests, 200 ODIs and 17 T20 Internationals, has been in and out of the team in the last three to four years due to recurrent injuries which a took a toll on his body.

Zaheer Khan said in a statement, “The toughest call in a cricketing career is when one has to walk away from the game itself. You almost will yourself and want to push that few, extra miles but then the body, after nearly two decades, decides not to respond.”

Meanwhile Zaheer Khan will remain available for Indian Premiere League season 9 also known as IPL 9 which is expected to begin in 2016 next year.
