Tonight episode of Monday Night Raw kicks off with Michael Cole telling us that Brock Lesnar attacked Dean Ambrose in the parking lot as he arrived at the arena earlier today. Dean Ambrose was stretchered out of the parking lot and transported to a local medical facility.

Vince McMahon is out to present the award. Mr. McMahon runs down the many achievements of his father and his father’s father. Mr. McMahon announces that the winner of this award is none other than Stephanie McMahon!

Stephanie is crying as she tells her father that she is so honored to receive this prestigious award. She has a prepared statement she wants to read. Before she can, Shane McMahon’s music hits and he bounces out to the stage!

As Shane gets in the ring, Mr. McMahon and Stephanie look both shocked and displeased. Mr. McMahon tries to go in for a hug, but Shane literally gives him the Heisman. Shane says this is the straw that broke the camels back. Shane says with all due respect, Stephanie doesn’t deserve this award. Stephanie says it’s easy for Shane to say when he has been around for six years. Shane says before he will address that comment, he turns to Mr. McMahon and says, “She doesn’t know, does she?” Shane runs down the long list of problems with the WWE: the stock is in the toilet, roster injured, and various other issues.

Shane informs Stephanie that he cut a deal with their father years ago. Just because he left, doesn’t mean he lost his place in line. Stephanie is where she is because he allowed it. Mr. McMahon tells Steph that there is some truth to this. Stephanie leaves the ring. Mr. McMahon asks Shane how much he wants to be cashed out. Shane says it isn’t about money. He wants control of Monday Night Raw. Mr. McMahon tells Shane that the times have changed he can’t just step in and take over.

If he runs Raw, he essentially runs the company. Mr. McMahon says he will make a deal: he will give Shane what he wants on one condition: Shane has to have one match, one night. If Shane wins he gets control of Raw. Shane agrees. Mr. McMahon says something that gets bleeped. Mr. McMahon says the match will be at WrestleMania. Shane will face the Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match.
