As we all know that US Supreme Court has recently issued a verdict in favour of LGBT community through which same gender marriage has been legalised in all the 51 states of the country. The citizens of the America has greeted this wonderful ruling of the highest authority with immense happiness as we have spotted hashtags of Love Wins trending on Twitter earlier Friday on 26 June 2015. In India also legalising the rights of these communities has always been a great concern as we have seen Guys and Girls fighting for it and to support this beautiful cause many Bollywood movies are being made on this genre some of them got superhit while the other have failed to impress the audience.

Here we are presenting a list of top 10 LGBT related Indian movies that are being made to support and in favour of these people who are still fighting hard for their birth rights

Girlfriend – Girlfriend is a 2004 Bollywood movie which features Amrita Arora, Ashish Choudhary and Isha Koppikar in lead roles. The movie is based on the romance of two women Tanya & Sapna which got disturbed by the entry of a guy Rahul in Sapna’s life.

Men Not Allowed – Men Not Allowed is a 2006 romantic drama film featuring Payal Rohatgi and Tina Mazumdar in lead roles as Tanya and Urmila. It comprises of some nice love sequences between both these hot actresses.

Unfreedom – Unfreedom is a recently released Indian drama film featuring Preeti Gupta and Bhavani Lee in lead roles. It comprises of a lot of hot love making scenes between both the ladies but unfortunately the film which was scheduled to release on 29 May 2015 in India got banned.

Dostana – It is a Hindi comedy movie which features Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles. The film comprises of a lot of Homosexuality related funny sequences between Abhishek and John. They were also shown kissing each other in a scene in this venture.

I Can’t Think Straight – I Can’t Think Straight is a 2008 romantic film featuring Lisa Ray as Tala and Sheetal Sheth as Laila. It is not a Indian film but half of the star cast which has acted in this venture comprises of Indians.

The World Unseen – It is historical drama film written and directed by Shamim Sarif, adapted from her own novel. The film is about two Indian South African women Miriam (Lisa Ray) and Amina (Sheetal Sheth) who fall in love with each other.

Fire – It is Indian-Canadian romantic drama film written and directed by Deepa Mehta and starring Shabana Azmi and Nandita Das in lead roles. It was released on 5 November 1998 in India.

The Journey – It is a 2004 Malayalam feature film written, directed and produced by Ligy J. Pullappally, It is based on the romance between two women Kiran and Delilah.

The Desire – The Desire is an Indo-Chinese feature film, directed by R. Sarath. Starring Shilpa Shetty in the lead role. It has not got released unfortunately due to production issues.

Dunno Y Na Jaane Kyon – It is a 2010 bilingual Indian film. It was directed by Sanjay Sharma and written by his bro Kapil Sharma who has also played the lead role in this venture alongside Yuvraaj Parashar.
