Sultan 9th Day Collection Box Office Kamai in Rupees 2nd Thu Full Details

Sultan 9th Day Collection Box Office Kamai in Rupees 2nd Thu Full Details :- Bollywood’s fastest Rs 200 grosser Sultan which features Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma in main leads is breaking new box office records with every passing day. Not only in India but in countries like UAE, Pakistan and Canada this Ali Abbas Zafar directorial is doing great business. The film is expected to do the biz in same fashion in coming few weeks as well as movies like Great Grand Masti doesn’t seem to be a competition for this sports drama at all.

On its eight day, which also happens to be a working day, Sultan is still maintaining its collections in double digit. The Ali Abbas Zafar directed film brought in 10.82 crore more and with this, the collections now stand at 219.64 crore. In the process, it has now gone past another Salman Khan starrer, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo [210 crore].

The film’s continuing its box office dominance despite these being weekdays and lower ticket prices. As the film became the fastest film ever to earn Rs 200 crore, besting the records of Salman’s own Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Aamir Khan’s two films — PK and Dhoom 3 — more records will soon fall through.

With Sultan, Salman has 10 films in the prestigious Rs 100-crore club. Shah Rukh has six big earners while Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn have five films each who have earned over Rs 100 crore.

Sultan 9th Day Business Details

The one man who still stands in Sultan Salman’s way is Aamir Khan. The Dangal actor has the most impeccable record at BO, his film PK is the biggest box office earner and he has three films in rs 200 crore club. Maybe, with Dangal, he will have a third entrant here too.

The film has seen some drop in collections during the weekdays. However, one has to take this into consideration that this is strictly relative to the blockbuster start it took during the first five days. For a regular mainstream release, maintaining a run rate of 10 crore per day even on a weekend is considered to be fair enough and here, Sultan is doing it on the weekend. Moreover, in real term scenario, this is the start of the second week and still the collections haven’t gone below an optimum benchmark.

The overall occupancy rate of Sultan on 9th day has been recorded around 50% which nice as most of its evening shows in major Indian metropolitan cities went housefull and public feedback is terrific as people are calling it an awesome venture and a must watch as it will inspire the youth.
