Sultan 16th Day Business Details
The successful run of the talkie is evident from the fact that the release of Great Grand Masti didn’t affect it anyway. The latest venture of Salman continued faring with the same speed and kept its cash registers ringing all day and weeks long.
It is faring very well in both the domestic as well as overseas markets. With Rs. 500 cr already in the bank, the movie has become the fourth film to cross the milestone after Dhoom 3, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and PK.
The only thing which it couldn’t acheve was the highest frist day grosser. Except that, it has marked every reord with its name. The highest frist day grossers ahead of it are Shahrukh Khan’s Happy New Year, Salman’s Bajirangi Bhaijaan. In the extended 5-day weekend, it earned more than 30 crores on every single day. That’s is a record in itself which any common movie will not be break anytime soon.
This coming Friday, Kabali of Rajinikanth is going to release. However, it won’t affect Sultan collection much in the northern region. But, it will be on high in the southern India. Its craze is even more than of Salman Khan’s latest film. It is evident from the fact that everyone is willing to watch it in the first day first show. Thus, several companies have already declared July 22 a holiday.
Below are the box office collection figures that Sultan has generated through its 3rd Thursday Business at Indian box office :
