Sultan 14th Day Collection Becomes Bollywood Fastest Film to Earn 500 Crore Worldwide :- Ali Abbas Zafar directorial Sultan which features the awesome duo of Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma in main leads has emerged as the quickest ever Bollywood film to cross Rs 500 crore mark through its worldwide biz as this sports drama has achieved this great milestone within 12 days of its release. Makers of Sultan have recently posted a picture on Twitter sharing this wonderful news.


Salman mania has yet again gripped the nation and the film is doing tremendous business at the ticket windows. Sultan, which had collected Rs 180 crore in the first weekend in India, has raked in another Rs 83 crore by the end of second week, thus taking the total amount to Rs 263 crore.

Sultan collected more than Rs 200 crore in the country in just seven days of its release, the fastest film to have done so. With Sultan, Salman now has four films in the coveted Rs 200-crore club – Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Sultan, with Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s collection being more than Rs 300 crore in India.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Sultan is the story of a wrestler who is pushed to retirement after a tragedy hits his life. The film, which also stars Anushka Sharma, hit the screens on Eid this year.

Sultan movie starring Salman Khan became the true sensation of Bollywood after breaking records of Akshay Kumar’s Airlift and Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN, Sultan collection remained on the top of trends.

Sultan 14th Day Business Details

The movie was released on over 4352 screens in India and 1100 screens overseas which were enough to create a big hype. Whatever good can happen with the timing and clashes of date, has been happened with the film. From getting a 5 day long weekend to great success for songs, the film had made everything it had to be.

On Monday, film observed a huge drop. Earning mere 5.91 crores was below the expectations. The film will have to manage a lot for sustaining a week more. The flick collected a total amount of 13.7 million $ (91.93 cr) over 5 days extended weekend. Film collected 17.46 million $ (117.15 cr) in 1st week in overseas.

As we have witnessed on Monday that earnings of Sultan have gone through a big decrease the same has happened on Tuesday as well but still we are quite sure looking at the way it is performing currently at local markets that it will cross Rs 300 crore collection mark soon at Indian box office.
