Street Dancer 3D Review and Rating – Fantastic Dance with Recycled Plot :- Bollywood dance thriller ‘Street Dancer 3D’ is releasing today in cinemas and this Bhushan Kumar presentation has absolutely failed to offer anything new in terms of its story as it felt like a recycled mashup of many old dance flicks like ABCD, ABCD 2 and Step UP Series with a little bit of Bollywood tadka here and there. The film features Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in pivotal roles and well known choreographers like Prabhu Deva, Nora Fatehi, Punit Pathak and Salman Yusuff Khaan are playing side characters in this film. Street Dancer 3D has a on-screen running time of 146 minutes and it has been directed by Remo D’Souza.

Sahej’s big brother (Punit Pathak) gets injured in the final round of the Dance Battle and loses it. After this Sehaj makes a promise to himself that he will win that Dance Battle but he has a weak team. Sahej’s girlfriend Mia (Nora Fatehi) is a member of the Britain’s Dance Team ‘The Royals.’ Inayat (Shraddha Kapoor) with her dance team makes makes fun of Sahej’s dance team. Inyat is a member of the Pakistani Dance Team while Sahej is a part of the Indian Dance Team. Both the groups were watching a cricket match at a restaurant owned by Ram Prasad (Prabhu Deva) after this the Dance Battle begins. You need to watch the film in theatre to find out about the rest.
Street Dancer 3D Critic Review
Street Dancer 3D was earlier supposed to be released as ABCD 3 but the title was changed due to Disney’s exit from Indian film production. This seems to be the biggest reason why this film has absolutely failed to recreate the magic of ABCD and ACBD 2. The makers put the whole focus on Varun and Shraddha while the actual dancer took a back seat and have not given enough room to shine. The first half is boring as hell and whenever any emotional sequence comes, its better to take a bathroom break rather then suffering the torture. Speaking of the second half well it has some moments of awesomeness but it failed to save this awful mess.
Street Dancer 3D Postives and Negatives
- Awesome dance sequences
- Music is fantastic especially Garmi song
- Boring first half
- Copy Paste of old dance films
- Not much focus on actual dancers

If you have not watched old dance ventures like ABCD or Step Up series then you can definitely give Street Dancer 3D a try otherwise we definitely recommend you to skip this one as you will not find anything new and you will end up coming out of the cinema hall disappointed.
