Katamarayudu Second Day Collection Box Office Kamai Detailed Report :- Released on about 1500 screens the Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan starrer Telugu film Katamarayudu has made a whooping collection of Rs 55 crore on the first day through its worldwide biz. This venture has already left Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi no. 150 behind as that venture has made a opening of Rs 47 crore which is much less as compared to this film. Directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasani this film is a remake of Tamil film Veeram which was released in year 2014.

When Sardar Gabbar Singh became damp squib at the box office last year, expectations for Katamrayudu rose to mammoth proportions. With the film in theatres, it’s safe to say that Pawan Kalyan is finally back in style, as Katamarayudu has opened to overwhelming response from powerstar’s fans across the world.

According to a report in The Times of India, the Pawan Kalyan-starrer has raked in a whopping Rs 55 crore on its opening day, surpassing the numbers of his brother and megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150, which reportedly earned Rs 47 crore on its first day. It may be noted that Katamarayudu has already grossed Rs 100-crore through its satellite and distribution rights.

As per Rentrak Katamarayudu debuts at No 9 at USA box office as it Collects $ 664,250 [₹ 4.34 cr] on the first day. Even today Katamarayudu has got a good overall occupancy rate as audience went with too much of excitement to watch this thriller and public is also seen praising the brilliant acting of Shruti who has essayed the character of Avanthika in this movie.
