The story of Jilla revolves around Sakthi, adopted son of don Sivan who has hatred towards police is forced to join police force, then an horrific incident changes his mind and decides to take up the police job seriously and also decides to reform his father.

Jilla Telugu Critic Review & Star Rating

Jilla was a most hyped Pongal release of 2015, It has two big superstars in its cast Mohanlal and Vijai. Both of them have teamed up for this ‘masala entertainer’ which takes place in Madurai. Vijai appears suave in an cool avatar, whereas Mohanlal, clad in white commands respect. Tamatam Kumar Reddy and Prasad Sannidhi of Sri Obuleswara Productions acquired the Telugu dubbing rights while R. B. Choudary was announced to present the film. Surekha Vani and L. B. Sriram were confirmed to be a part of the separate track shot on Vijay and Brahmanandam. Shashank Vennelakanti penned the dialogues for the Telugu dubbed version. After considering many other titles, Zilla was retained for the Telugu dubbed version.

Kajal Aggarwal has done a wonderful job essaying the character of typical strict female cop Shanthi who later falls in love with Sakthi (Vijay) and there romance sequences are too funny to watch. Background music is good and climax is spectacular.

Our rating for Jilla Telugu is 4/5*
