Japan Defeated England 2-1 Semis FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 JPN vs USA Final

The stage is now set as we have the final two finalists of FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 after Japan defeated England in the semi-final match on Thursday by 2-1 full time. Now they will face USA squad to clinch the most honourable trophy of the world of soccer. In the opening 33 minutes of the match Japanese team scored their first goal of the game thanks to a penalty kick they have got because of a foul committed by US defender Claire Refferty. Aya Miyama was the goal scorer.

Soon England have got the much needed equalizer as they received a penalty kick as this time around Japan forward Yuki Ogimi made a vicious tackle in the circle. The leveller came at the 40th minute of the match and Fara Wiliams was the goal scorer. But it seems that today the fortune was favouring the Japanese side as after the 90 mins of play in the extra 2 mins of match England made a serious mess as they suffered a funny defeat because of their own goal made by defender Laura Bassett.

Now the final of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 between Japan and United States of America will happen on 5th of July at BC Place Stadium located in Vancouver, Canada. It will begin on 16:00 PM Local Time. While on 4th of July 2015 Germany and England will compete for the third position.
