Fitoor 3rd Day (1st Weekend) Collection Box Office India Report

Fitoor 3rd Day (1st Weekend) Collection Box Office India Report :- Directed by Abhishek Kapoor Bollywood emotional romantic drama film Fitoor which was released earlier this week in theatres and features Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapoor & Tabu in lead roles has emerged as a flop at box office India. Audience of the country has totally rejected this venture as they are preferring Sanam Re over it and this is the major reason that even makers of this flick are now not releasing its official collection figures as they have never imagined that it will fall down like this.

The Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor starrer, according to initial reports, managed to collect Rs 3.61 crore on day 1 – far from breaking the Rs 10 crore barrier, Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor were not able to boost Fitoor even past the half-way mark of that.

While this is the result of Fitoor releasing on a working Friday, the film was also robbed of much of its powers of attraction as it received diametrically opposite reactions in reviews – from standout to poor. (

Also, the film was not surrounded by any controversy that would have put it at the front and centre of national attention, but this factor does not always work and can have negative repercussions too – for instance, Sunny Leone’s Mastizaade was not helped by the publicity immediately ahead of the release of the film and Shahrukh Khan’s Dilwale was greeted by many protests, which limited its intake at the B.O. The fact that Fitoor has a restricted run in under 1,500 screens is also a big limiting factor.

Now talking about the performance of Fitoor on 3rd day well unfortunately this film has failed to make an impact even on Sunday despite of the fact that it was an holiday in the whole country and also Valentine’s day 2016 but Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat’s Sanam Re again had the upper hand over this venture and dominated it very much.

Fitoor Third Day Collection – Rs 5 crore (approx)

Fitoor First Weekend Collection – Rs 12.11 crore (approx)
