First Weekend Azhar Collection Third Day Business 13.30 Crore in 2 Days :- Written by Rajat Arora and directed by Tony D’Souza Hindi sports biographical film ‘Azhar’ has made a slight improvement in its earnings after getting an average opening taking its 2 days Indian box office income to 13.30 crore which is decent enough. The much hyped movie based on the real life story of Mohammad Azharuddin (Former Indian Cricket Team Captain) has very much impressed the audience which is obvious from the positive public reviews it is receiving currently.


Azhar has received great response from the viewers who showered high praise on actor Emraan Hashmi for depicting the life of the former Indian skipper on screen.
Majority of the audience unanimously agreed that Emraan did complete justice to the character onscreen. Also coming in for high praise were the two lead actresses especially Prachi Desai whose measured performance as Azhar’s first wife left audience impressed. The chemistry between Emraan and Nargis Fakhri (Sangeeta Bijalani) too delighted many.

Azhar 3rd Day Overall Occupancy Rate

On the third day of its release overall occupancy for Azhar has been recorded around 65% which is a bit better as compared to the past few days. Right now in the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai, Delhi, Jammu and Punjab most of its evening and night shows are going fully packed.

In Azhar movie Emraan Hashmi is essaying the character of Mohammad Azharuddin while on the other side Prachi Desai can be seen as his first wife Naureen and Nargis Fakhri is playing the role of his second wife Sangeeta Bijlani. Lara Dutta will be seen as a lawyer named Meera in this venture.
