Dishoom 5th Day Collection Box Office Kamai Tuesday Report

Dishoom 5th Day Collection Box Office Kamai Tuesday Report :- Rohit Dhawan action adventure comedy film Dishoom is at present earning at a decent enough rate from the Indian markets. The Bollywood thriller which features John Abraham, Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Saqib Saleem and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles has surprised us all with its mind blowing first weekend performance as public is giving very positive response to this film.

John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer has rocked the opening weekend collection and earned a whopping Rs 64.47 cr worldwide, it has been revealed in a statement by the filmmakers themselves. The movie may not have had the kind of flying start that was expected of it, but it looks like the word-of-mouth booster shot has enlivened the its collections by ensuring the cinemas see reasonably packed houses. Considering that Dishoom released in just 3,100 screens approximately in India, this performance is creditable. Dishoom prediction from here is to reach the Rs 50 cr mark just ahead of Friday in India alone.

Dishoom collections’ break up shows that the film easily clocked a figure as high as Rs 51.13 crore within India and it also turned in a fine international performance clocking as much as Rs 13.34 crore. The comedy action genre has pumped-up the collection very well despite not a very rosy prediction. The best part for the movie is that its collection has rocketed upward despite most of India seeing a rollicking monsoon with all major metros flooded and the rest of India home-bound. Yet despite that fact, Dishoom collections have made their mark.

The film quaintly tagged as a buddy cop action drama by the filmmakers, has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala & Eros International and directed by Rohit Dhawan. Aside from John Abraham, Varun Dhawan, Dishoom also stars Jacqueline Fernandez. The film is all about ‘bromance’, which surprisingly, has been very well carried off by the duo with Jacqueline bringing the movie into a tight well-laid out unit. And best of all, the audience has been impressed.

Dishoom 5th Day Business Report

On opening day (Friday) were as high as Rs 11.05 crore in India. This is despite the bandh in south India that forced the film to be shown in Karnataka and Mysore only after 5.00 p.m. due to the bandh. Dishoom, “…has re-introduced the buddy-cop genre to Bollywood and has received a thumbs up both from the audiences and the critics. The film has (brought) good box office numbers from both multiplexes and single screens across India,” said Nandu Ahuja, Senior VP, India Theatrical, Eros International.

Other films which come ahead of Dishoom in BO rankings are Sultan (Rs 180.36 crore), Housefull 3 (Rs 53.31 crore), Fan (Rs 52.35 crore), Airlift (Rs 44.3 crore) and Baaghi (Rs 38.58 crore). The Rohit Dhawan directorial managed to do better than Udta Punjab.

Before its release Dishoom got mixed reviews but that didn’t stop audiences from flocking to the theatres. What worked for Dishoom was the fact that there has been no major Bollywood release since Salman Khan’s Sultan came out on July 6. The film released on 3,000 screens in India.

Box office business of this movie today went too good as Dishoom has grossed very well at Indian markets and below are the collection figures that this Rohit Dhawan directorial has collected on Tuesday :
