Dilwale 10th Day (2nd Weekend) Collection Box Office Kamai Report

Dilwale 10th Day (2nd Weekend) Collection Box Office Kamai Report :- Bollywood big banner film Dilwale which went on about 4000 screens last week in theatres worldwide is continuously facing a decrease in its earning at box office India as it appears that this Rohit Shetty directorial is paying the consequences of its lead actor SRK controversial statement of religious intolerance in the country which he has made a month before its release in cinemas. Dilwale which features Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles is getting completely sidelined by Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historical drama Bajirao Mastani at domestic markets.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic war drama has been growing by leaps and bounds at the box office in the country ever since the film hit the screens. On the other hand, Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale hasn’t been able to impress much, box-office-figures-wise.

After nine days at the screens, Bajirao Mastani has earned a whopping Rs 108.7 crore in India, with its second Friday (December 25) seeing a business of Rs 12.25 crore. Bajirao Mastani’s second Saturday at the ticket windows saw it earning Rs 10.3 crore at the domestic box office.

On the day of release, several fringe groups protested against both Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale, albeit for different reasons. While Bajirao Mastani had irked the offended for the ‘misrepresentation of Maratha history’, Dilwale had its lead star as the centre of all controversy.

Now talking about the performance of this big budget venture on second Sunday this movie has grossed too good. Most of its shows in the states of Delhi, Jammu, UP, Haryana and Chandigarh went housefull as Sunday holiday worked in its favour. But still unfortunately this film has got dominated by Bajirao Mastani in many parts of the country as a result of which Dilwale 10th day overall occupancy has been recorded around 55% which is decent but not god enough.

Dilwale Tenth Day Collection – Rs 7.12 crore

Dilwale Second Weekend Collection – Rs 123.88 crore
