Azhar 2nd Day Collection Saturday Box Office Kamai Report

Azhar 2nd Day Collection Saturday Box Office Kamai Report :- Despite of too much of hype Azhar movie has made an average opening of only 6.30 crore which is not impressive at all. The Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri and Lara Dutta starrer was expected to collect over 15 crore on the Friday from its domestic biz only but it has not went anywhere near to that figure. It appears that the ongoing IPL season has effected the business of this movie to a great extent as people chose to watch t20 matches rather then this awesome biographical sports thriller.

Tony D’Souza’s directorial film, which is based on Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin’s life, was expected to open with good occupancy, but the film started on a slow note. Furthermore, the occupancy did not show much growth at the box office in the evening and night shows, as it failed to captivate audience’s attention.

Nevertheless, despite a low opening, the first-day collection of “Azhar” is better than Emraan’s previous movies. His last movie “Hamari Adhuri Kahani” minted Rs. 5.04 crore, “Mr. X” minted Rs. 4.5 crore and “Ungli” minted Rs. 3.6 crore.

Azhar features Emraan Hashmi in the titular role, Prachi Desai as his wife Naureen, while Nargis Fakhri plays the role of his second wife Sangeeta Bijlani.

Azhar 2nd Day Business Details

Well now talking about the biz of Azhar on day 2 the news is that it has improved a bit as the positive public word of mouth is working in its favour and we have seen small kids going with their parents to watch the real life story of the great Indian cricketing legend with too much of excitement.

Still we need to wait a little bit more to find out that how much scope of improvement for this thriller is there but today on 14 May 2016 Azhar 2nd day overall occupancy rate has been recorded around 55% which is nice.

Azhar Second Day Collection – Rs 7.40 crore (approx)
